Shinny Logo using Bevel, Gradient & Opacity
The red part is a gradient of medium red to slightly dark red. Then on the text, I used bevel emboss and reversed the light source so it will appear like it was engraved or something. Then lastly, I looked for a nice picture of a road with trees on the side. I put the the picture in the middle, divided it two parts and changed the opacity. The upper part of the pic is in 15-20 opacity and the lower part is in 3-5 opacity. This created the shinny effect. The black part is just plain black and white text.
